30 Day Blog post #5 “Write a letter to your teenage self” ðŸ‘©ðŸ½â€ðŸ’¼

Heyyy everyone welcome to day 5 of my 30 Day Blog post! I hope everyone is enjoying the new year and I hope many blessings are coming to you guys ! In today’s post, it will be a letter to my teenage self . Now, I know what you’re thinking ,how can you write a letter to your teenage self ? It’s simple write a letter stating what you could have done better and what you want to fix.so here’s my letter to my teenage self.

Dear Chaz,

You were a great teenager! You loved school , you had great friends , good grades , and you were too kind. I don’t like the fact that everyone took your kindness as a weakness and I wish you would have realized that during your teenage life . You always put people over you and let people run over you . You were friends with people who didn’t care about you it was more for their benefit to keep you around. I’m still mad at you for doing so but I know now that you are older, you have realized a lot of things . You helped your mom with your sister your whole teenage life even when you couldn’t have a normal teenage life and God can see that! You are a very blessed girl .

Keep growing !

Now I know that this blog post seems a bit weird but looking back at my teenage life has made me realize a lot now that I’m an adult . I see things that I didn’t see before. Thank you guys for viewing my post ❤️

  1. Chaz, I did one of those 2 months ago, and it was actually very therapeutic for me. Did you find that true for yourself? I found that I ended up not only counseling my 15 year old self, but comforting her, too, and that was very healing for me. I hope this was for you, as well. I found it to be a very worthwhile exercise. If you want to read mine, it is here: https://runwithit.blog/2018/11/01/dear-15-year-old-me-tag/ Thank you for sharing yours. I enjoyed reading it.

      1. Chaz, I really didn’t think I had that much still in me that needed to come out, for I had been working through my stuff for many years, so I was surprised by what came out and what I learned through it and by how healing it was.

I’m glad your experience with talking to yourself as a teenager rendered similar results to mine. I don’t know who thought this idea up to begin with, but I think it was a good one. Glad we were both able to benefit from it.
